Our Environment

A rich, diverse and inviting space makes the perfect learning environment for young children. Our indoor and outdoor environments are designed to empower children to make choices, feel secure and boost creative thinking and discovery.

Children are free to move between indoors and outdoors at their own pace – enabling them to follow their interests and feel a strong sense of belonging.

We are lucky to have two abundant veggie gardens for the children to enjoy. Through our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program, children get to plant, care for and harvest flowers and fresh produce. Alongside a range of cooking experiences, our veggie gardens help expose children to new foods and flavours and learn about sustainability.

Our brand-new bike track is a standout feature of our service. Children relish in being able to ride scooters or bikes around our bike track. The bike track is not only a fantastic way for children to develop their gross motor skills, but also teaches them about turn-taking and collaboration.

Surrounded by leafy trees and greenery, our yard is inviting space where our children can enjoy throughout the day. In addition to our outdoor program, we also are members of the KIDDO Program, which takes world-class exercise and sports science research and delivers fun, age-appropriate experiences for young children.

We provide ample opportunity for physical play, such as digging, heavy work, building, balancing and tumbling, enabling children to feel powerful in their bodies and develop gross motor skills.

In addition to our outdoor program, we also are members of the KIDDO Program, which takes world-class exercise and sports science research and delivers fun, age-appropriate experiences for young children.

Our purpose-built indoor rooms are spacious, modern and adorned with the highest quality furniture and resources.

Bringing the outdoors in, we opt for natural, durable materials and pride ourselves on giving a second life to second-hand materials. This helps us create a homely environment for our young learners.

Taking inspiration from Walker Learning, we create dedicated learning spaces for sensory experiences, literacy, numeracy, reading, construction and dramatic play – to name only a few.
