Our purpose-built learning environment is designed to get your child excited about learning. Children can move freely between our indoor and outdoor spaces, with thoughtful and diverse learning experiences that enhance their learning and growth.
Using only the highest quality materials and resources, we aim to create a home-away-from-home environment that makes your child feel comfortable, engaged and ready to learn. Some of our standout features include our new bike track and veggie garden.
Our close proximity to Lucknow Primary School also gives our Kinder 4 children the unique opportunity to enjoy regular visits to the prep classroom and library, helping them make a smooth transition to school.

Award-winning garden program
Lucknow Kindergarten has proudly earned national recognition after winning an award from the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation.
Our entry was celebrated for using creativity and sustainability to respond to a common garden pest. Working as a team, the children brought to life scarecrows using recycled materials. The children then extended the theme, taking inspiration from their creations to make beautiful watercolour artworks.
Our Curriculum
Children learn best through play – it fuels their curiosity and supports children to learn through hands-on exploration. Our funded three- and four-year-old kindergarten programs are led by fully qualified Early Childhood Teachers who balance intentional teaching with child-led learning.
This empowers children to actively participate in their learning and make a successful transition to primary school.
Indigenous Cultural Learning Program
We are proud to offer an Indigenous Cultural Learning Program. Our Gunai/Kurnai Language Teacher uses a variety of stories, puppet songs and props to help children learn about Aboriginal culture in a meaningful way.
Indoor/Outdoor Program
As part of our Indoor/Outdoor Program, children are free to follow their interests and move around their learning environment. This provides a balance of experiences and promotes a strong sense of agency in our little learners.
Stephanie Alexander Program
The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen and Garden Program gives children the chance to grow, harvest, prepare and share in fresh food. This hands-on program helps little ones learn about sustainability and healthy eating while having fun.

Fee Assistance
Child Care Subsidy CCS assists families to afford Kindergarten fees in a setting with long daycare hours.
Every family must be registered on myGov and complete a Child Care Subsidy assessment.
